I really had a blast doing this book. It was my sixth and documenting the business history of Tamil Nadu was one great learning experience.
The Hindu covered the book release –http://www.thehindu.com/business/article2499770.ece
By way of my thanks I am listing below all those who helped in putting this book together. They have all been acknowledged in the book but one more thanks does not hurt.

I had gone through the comprehensive volume, thanks to Srinivasasn K Swamy for lending me a copy, compiled and documented by you.
It is an exellant job, indeed. I should say that the book has wonderful insight into not ony the age-old organisation, MCCI, but also the detailed history of Chennai, the then Madras, its rich heritage and some idea about our freedom struggle.
Kudos to you, once again,
Sarma Sastrigal
