The Music Academy – Tag Raga Identification Competition has been jointly organised by the Music Academy and the Tag Corporation & Ramu Endowments especially for Carnatic Music Rasikas. It will be held on Sunday, October 21st at the Music Academy in the TT Krishnamachari Auditorium.

If you can identify a raga just by listening to it, then this competition is for you. Registration at 9.30 a.m.

A lec-dem on identifying ragas- methods and strategies, by Dr. R.S.Jayalakshmi will be held on that day.

There is no age limit and the event is open to individual contestants only. Performing musicians and senior students of music will not qualify for the event.Earlier gold winners of the contest will also not qualify to participate again.Registration will be on first-in basis as seats are limited.
