The floods have been of such magnitutde that for the first time the city is asking: Should the December Music Season be cancelled? Is it appropriate to have a festival of the fine arts at this time?

I do not think that’s necessary. They can postpone the events for a fortnight instead of canceling the festival. Are we not watching TV shows, movies , sports sitting at home. Then why a music festival should be cancelled.
