Not that it is just 20th century history here. This temple was probably built by Ketty Narayan, son in law to Beri Thimmappa, one of the co-founders of Madras.
All this, and a lot more will be revealed during the next heritage walk on February 15th.The walk, priced at Rs 500 per head, will begin at 6.00 am and will last till 8.00 am followed by breakfast at a historic eatery on the same road.
