As per the Nalli’s Chennai Music Season Reckoner for 2013-14 (S Kannan and Not for Sale), Nagai Sriram’s schedule for 22nd is as follows:
5.00 PM – Kartik Fine Arts – accompanying TNS Krishna
6.15 PM – Kalarasana – accompanying Sanjay Subrahmanyan
6.45 PM – Charsur Fine Arts – accompanying V Sankaranarayanan
In this e-age, anything is possible but given Chennai’s traffic, he has to be an e to negotiate the distances.
This by the way is a Season Fact and not a Season Vumb.
Is it a printer’s devil or the organisations have goofed up?
Given that the duration of the evening slot recitals is about
two hours, is it possible for the artistes to dash from one to
another location, when all the three concerts are to take place
within the duration of an hour and a half?
probably he will play e-fiddle
A bit off-topic, but still with concerts taking place on Dec 22nd in mind: here’s one flop of a concert to which I’d go to as soon as Google invents time travelling machines.

On Dec 22nd, Udayalur Kalyanarama Bhagavathar sings at 9 AM at Chennai Cultural Academy (T Nagar) and performs Radha Kalyanam at the Sringeri Temple in RA Puram starting at 9.30 AM. Even the day’s schedule that appears in The Hindu lists both of these.
Wait a sec!
Without Kannan’s hard work, many of us will be completely lost!
Typos, especially with an anumAr vAl listing, are unavoidable. It’s also possible that earlier, when the artistes weren’t sure where they were going to perform out of the two venues, they gave both dates, and did not follow it up by informing Kannan where they had chosen to play.
Are we taking Kannan for granted here? 🙁
