We have become THRISHANKUS.
Neither here nor there.
We have losht” the blott and even the promished PARADYSHE is LOSHT!
We are all empty ‘vassals chashing shaidosh’!
Yesh indeed LORD BLESH USH ASH JESHUSH LOUWES USH!
LET USH PRAISH THE LORD AGAIN & AGAIN!
Has it anything to with traditional carnatic schools spelling tamil lyrics substituting “sa” by “sha” , “si” by “shi” and so on – with a thought that such a substitution is more authentic because it sounds like sanskrit? 😉
No no I do not think so!
There is nothing authentic or not with sa/sha or is/shi.
One uses sa /sha where it should be used.
Today in Bharat we do not learn anything with perfection. The result is we have become losers.
Our society today is dictated only by financial profit or loss.
Knowing English is the dream of all Indians today all over India because it is believed that an Englsh education will guarantee a good job if not in India at least abroad.
As a result we do not care for our mother tongue nor the other beautiful languages of our great nation. We neither learn our own language nor the foreigner’s tongue.
Those who are teachers of English are far from ideal.
These teachers cannot teach and perfection is out of our dictionary in India.
All of us talk and write a ‘khichdi’ or hotch-potch in whichever language you take.
We are unable to express our thoughts clearly in one single language.Take all the newsreaders, politicians and youngsters.
There is not VAANISHUDDHI!No one tries to speak with Vaakashuddhi.Using American slang or sloppy language is considered fashionable.
Our pronunciation is terribly defective and our accents are dictated by our local dialects and so we just manage to communicate.
As a people we Indians are extremely intelligent. This intelligence is our arch enemy because this is the very reason that prevents us from doing deep and profound study of anything.
Our nation has become a ‘sabkuch chalta hei’ country.
A country where we take pride in “jugaad” and do not pay any attention to detail and perfection.
Standards in everything have dropped abysmally.
Had this been all throughout history we would not have had the magnificently intricate sculptures we see at Vijayanagara-Hampi.
In the field of Darshana Shashtra we have SRI Adisankara ‘s philosophy of ADVAITAM. Despite all this India is in darkness today.
If our nation starts to promote the study of Samskritam in schools this would help us in every aspect of life.
Samskritam is the most scientifically developed language.Learning this most beautiful language purifies and refines the head, heart and buddhi.People in Bharat would be surprised to learn that in UK and USA there are exclusive schools where Samskrit is being taught from primary school onwards.
We had the best but our best is being hijacked by the West.
Let us hope our educationists all over the country wake up and start setting things right or we are LOSHT forever!
From heroes we are becoming zero.We have to stop this degeneration.
Let us strengthen our roots and automatically the branches will grow strong and start flowering and fruiting.
VANDE MATARAM!
Well, none of that justifies when some one sings “Sholla Sholla inikudaiya Muruga!” – It only sounds horrible! (Unfortunately its also built in to the system of some of the schools of carnatic music)
This is what is happening in the land of BHARAT.
We have become THRISHANKUS.
Neither here nor there.
