We Tamils have a some kind of connection with the Koreans. I got to understand from a Korean colleague that Father and Mother are referred to as Appa and Amma in Korean too. This one has got to do with eating habits. We should add the “Vegetable Pups” to that list 😉
But the best is when you talk to the guy that sells these “Vegetable Pups”. Ask him “what do you have?” and pat comes the reply: “Vegetable FUPPS”! 🙂 “Holy Cow”, would be an apt exclamation perhaps? 🙂

But you’ve got to give it to this guy: how many people are considerate enough to put up their menu in the local language and ‘la lingua pura’? 🙂
Can we say ‘kaaykari obbal’ for vegetable puffs????
